This is the 20-horse rotary screw compressor we installed. We removed two 5-horse power reciprocating compressors to make room for a new air storage tank and a new 20-horse rotary screw compressor. And part of the challenge is to actually get this compressor on the second story. It would have been a lot easier to do if we still had concrete!
For our paint booth, there are three concrete pours, the first is the pit floor. The second one is pouring the pit walls (with the cement truck in the building). The final pour was on January 12. On January 13, the paint booth arrived in a semi and they set it up.
A number of sub contractors were involved in the project, Rhode Island, Washington State. We had people all over!
This is one of the final steps of the second paint booth installation. We’re setting the exhaust stack final ducting and hood. It’s over 300 lbs and we decided it was worth a dollar a pound to pay Champion Crane to come in and do it.
